1. Cell Proliferation

Zhang Zhiwen et al. used fusion blending and freeze-drying methods to prepare acellular bone matrix/chitosan scaffold, and used dipping method to prepare basic fibroblast growth factor/acellular bone matrix/chitosan scaffold. The mouse embryonic osteoblasts MC3T3-E1 were inoculated on the surfaces of two kinds of scaffolds, and the cells cultured alone were used as controls to detect cell proliferation, cell adhesion and osteogenic genes. The results show that the acellular bone matrix/chitosan composite scaffold loaded with basic fibroblast growth factor is an ideal bone tissue repair material, which can promote bone formation.

2. Gastrin, Nitric Oxide

In order to explore the effect of Simo decoction combined with different doses of Golden bifid on gastrointestinal motility and intestinal flora in mice with food accumulation, Yan Lidi et al. established food accumulation models in 5 groups of mice. After continuous treatment, gastric contents, small intestines, feces and blood were collected to analyze the effect of drugs on gastric emptying and small intestinal propulsion in mice, the effect on the secretion of gastrin and nitric oxide (NO) in serum, and the regulation of intestinal microflora in mice. The results showed that the Simo decoction group combined low and high dose groups could effectively improve the symptoms of functional dyspepsia in mice and promote the recovery of gastrointestinal function in mice. Its effect is related to increasing the level of gastrin in serum, inhibiting the level of NO in serum, and improving the number of intestinal probiotics. Among them, the high-dose combination group has a significant therapeutic effect on functional dyspepsia in mice, and has a good ability to improve symptoms, which is worth applying the combined application scheme of Simo decoction and Golden bifid widely in clinical practice.

3. Biochemical Indicators

Wang Yangyang et al. explored the effect and mechanism of Zhihuang Zhitong Powder on acute gouty arthritis (AGA) in rats based on COX signaling pathway. By establishing an AGA model, the gait changes of the rats were observed, the degree of ankle swelling and mechanical paw withdrawal reflex threshold were detected, serum levels of interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-1β, TNF-α, MDA and SOD were detected by ELISA, and the pathological changes of rat joint tissues were observed by HE staining, and the levels of COX-1, COX-2 and PGE2 in joint tissues were detected by Western Blot and RT-PCR. The results showed that Zhihuang Zhitong powder alone and in combination with western medicine could improve gait, ankle joint swelling and pain, reduce inflammation and oxidative stress, and reduce the pathological changes of the tested joint tissue in AGA model rats. Its effect may be related to inhibiting the activation of COX signaling pathway.
